Airforce Veteran and home care franchisor set to open IV therapy brand’s first franchise
ATLANTA, GA - THE DRIPBaR - a Rhode Island-based franchise focused on administering IV infusions designed to help maximize physical and mental health – is opening its first franchise location in Atlanta. The new business will be located at 2484 Briarcliff Rd #22 and is slated to open in early December. The opening comes during a time when more people are looking to be more proactive about their health and are turning their attention to alternative health solutions. The location will be owned and operated by Dr. Cedrick Spears, who is no stranger to the business of franchising.
“I was the youngest person in the U.S. to open a state-licensed and state-funded home care agency in Clarksville, Tennessee and then I expanded it to Texas in 2016 and later Atlanta, so I know what it means to build a business from the ground up,” said Dr. Spears. “But, to be a well-rounded businessman and be able to coach and mentor others, I need to be both a franchisor and franchisee.”
Before spending the past 14 years owning, operating and expanding his home care agency to currently serve around 200 patients, Dr. Spears earned his doctorate in business and served four years of active duty in the U.S. Airforce and four years in the Airforce National Guard. In fact, he opened his second home care agency location in Killeen, Texas near Fort Hood in order to provide a job opportunity for Veterans.
“I have a passion for helping people, which is why I opened my home care agency to help take care of the elderly and help those who took care of us,” said Dr. Spears. “After doing my due diligence when looking at different franchises, I landed on THE DRIPBaR because it aligned with my values of helping.”
