BIG WHISKEY’S OPENS IN FAYETTEVILLE FEBRUARY 5TH
January 26, 2021, Ozark, MO— On February 5th Northwest Arkansas will gain its second Big Whiskey’s in six months with the opening of the new Fayetteville location, the third in the region. The Fayetteville location represents the second of a three-store expansion deal inked at the close of 2019 by local owner Shane Miller. Scouting for the third location is underway.
As Big Whiskey’s continues to make its mark in Northwest Arkansas, the brand is looking to keep it local. The new Fayetteville location will carry beers from Fossil Cove Brewing Company, Ozark Brewing Company, New Province Brewing Company, Bike Rack Brewing Company and will carry cider from Black Apple. Guests will be welcome to enjoy their favorite local brews on the expanded patio featuring an outdoor game area.
The grand opening festivities will kick off on February 4th when the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce performs a ceremonial ribbon cutting followed by a cocktail mixer for those in attendance. When Big Whiskey’s officially opens its doors to the public on February 5th, they will be hosting a Community Give Back Night with a portion of the day's proceeds being donated directly to the Children’s Safety Center of Washington County. Big Whiskey’s regularly supports Boys & Girls Club of Benton County, Children's Safety Center of Washington County, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association and Down Syndrome Connection of NWA.
The first 50 customers through the doors at Big Whiskey’s will receive coupons for free food and drink for a year in addition to the chance to win prizes every hour all weekend long via the Big Whiskey’s prize wheel. Prizes range from gift certificates and free food to Big Whiskey’s gear. In the afternoon on February 6th, guests can look forward to a live remote with NWA’s favorite DJs Jon and Deek.
The revamped space in the Evelyn Hills shopping center features a signature Big Whiskey’s patio, custom built bar, a brand new kitchen and plenty of dining space, including a private dining room that will seat fifty people known as “The Flag Room,” a nod to the brand’s authentically American persona. The central location, with its proximity to the University, will provide a great game day environment and a convenient spot for community gatherings, group happy hours, business lunches and family dinners.
Big Whiskey’s Fayetteville will open with the same popular specials as the two other NWA locations and will be open for business Sunday through Thursday 11:00 am to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 am.
In addition to a wide-ranging whiskey selection and its Celebrated Bar menu, Big Whiskey’s boasts an extensive menu featuring bold, flavorful plates and great choices for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night. A rotating seasonal menu compliments the brand’s staple items that include: Buffalo Chicken Wontons, crispy wontons filled with Big Whiskey’s famous Buffalo Chicken Dip; the sweet and spicy Honey Stung burger, topped with crispy jalapeno bottle caps, honey cream cheese spread, signature Honey Stung sauce and pepper jack cheese; a selection of hand-cut steaks, homemade pasta dishes and award-winning wings round out the robust menu.
