BIG WHISKEY’S LANDS THREE-STORE EXPANSION DEAL WITH ORIGINAL FRANCHISEE
November 21, 2019, Springfield MO— As 2019 comes to a close, the Big Whiskey’s franchise operation will roll into the new year with unprecedented momentum. Shane Miller, the first ever operator to open a Big Whiskey’s franchise, inked a new deal that includes three new Big Whiskey’s in Northwest Arkansas. Miller opened the first of the “American Restaurant & Bar” franchise concepts in Bentonville, Arkansas in March of 2017.
Miller has seen solid sales numbers every year his Bentonville store has been in operation, reporting a more than ten-percent boost in sales year-over-year. The continued success and enthusiasm for the Big Whiskey’s brand in the market propelled Miller to sign on for the additional stores.
“As Northwest Arkansas continues to grow, it allows businesses like ours the opportunity to expand further into the region and serve more customers where they live. We have guests from all over the area and we know there’s a demand outside of Bentonville,'' states Miller. He continued, “Big Whiskey’s is a community first brand and that makes a big difference as you look towards growth in a market. We are happy to continue to grow within the community.”
Austin Herschend, President of Big Whiskey’s Enterprises, says of the expansion, “Shane has been the ideal operator for us from day one. It’s no surprise that he is realizing the success we envisioned him having in Bentonville. We’re thrilled that he’s ready for three more stores.”
In addition to a wide-ranging whiskey selection, Big Whiskey’s boasts an extensive menu featuring bold, flavorful plates and great choices for either lunch, happy hour dinner, or late-night. A rotating seasonal menu compliments the brand’s staple items that include: Buffalo Chicken Wontons, crispy fried wontons filled with Big Whiskey’s Buffalo Chicken Dip; the mouthwatering Big Whiskey BBQ Craft Burger, topped with crispy onion rings, bacon and homemade Honey Whiskey BBQ sauce; and a selection of hand-cut steaks and homemade pasta dishes.
Big Whiskey’s was founded in downtown Springfield, MO in 2006 and currently operates in Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri with additional stores in Alabama and Oklahoma, as well as a third Kansas City area location slated to open in 2020. Further details of the three-store Northwest Arkansas expansion have been announced, but Herschend says plans are already underway. Stay connected with Big Whiskey’s on Facebook and Instagram.
