1851 Franchise ContributorAdam Bonsky, Lynn Bonsky, and Sean Bock, Heyday’s president of franchising, sat down with Mike Cronin of the Austin Business Journal to discuss the plans to open Austin’s first Heyday, a personalized skincare brand, early next year.
After opening their first location in the Texas capital, the Bonskys plan to open two additional Austin Heyday locations. Currently, the openings are planned to be roughly 12 months apart.
According to Bock, the arrival of Heyday in Central Texas will create about two dozen jobs at each store. The employee composition at each location typically ranges from 15 to 20 estheticians, as well as several more to run day-to-day operations.
The Bonskys are working alongside L5 Capital Partners, the investment group behind Heyday, and a commercial real estate broker to find a space appropriate for Heyday estheticians. They hope to find a space environment where the team can focus on training, operations and marketing in the realm of personalized facials.
“We believe strongly in Lynn and Adam,” Bock stated. “They’re well-connected stewards of the community, and we know they’re going to take great care of the people in Austin.”
