Musicologie delivers simply delightful music lessons to all ages and abilities through private lessons and group programs like Musicologie Junior, Accelerated Labs and RockStars. We are a brick-and-mortar concept, specializing in small, in-person, neighborhood lesson studios. Since our founding in 2014, we've taught more than 5,000 students ranging in ages from 6 months in our Musicologie Junior program, to elementary kids in Accelerated Labs and RockStars, to adults in private lessons.

Our franchise development team is with you from day one to make sure your Musicologie studio comes to life and is poised for success. All four of our core team members will work with you personally at every step of the way.

  • Student Acquisition. Our lead generation strategy gives you a powerful sales funnel and manages students from lead, to first lesson, to enrollment, to eventual withdrawal, automatically collecting data and student feedback all along the way.

Our Process

1. Getting Started
Our first call will be a quick 10-15 minutes to allow us to get acquainted. We’ll send you our Request for Consideration form to complete for the next call.

2. Getting to Know Each Other
During our second call a week later, we will learn more about you - your background, goals, and capabilities. We will explain what you can expect from our process.

3. FDD Review and Intro to Funding Partners
We’ll send you our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and go through the information. This is an extensive document that goes through start up costs, financial performance representations and more.

4. Due Diligence
This phase of the process includes Franchise Agreement review, market and demographic research, and background and credit checks.

5. Discovery Day
We will welcome you to Columbus, OH to see a couple of our studios in action and learn more about the culture and operation of Musicologie.

6. Franchise Awarded
We sign and execute the franchise agreement and/or development agreement. This is just the beginning! Now we get to work building your Musicologie.
