Products & Services
Sunoco APlus® convenience stores are located along the east coast from Massachusetts to Florida and west into upstate New York and Ohio. Our 740 APlus stores carry national brand-named products, including: snacks, beverages, cigarettes, hot and cold lunches, and fresh-brewed Gulliver’s® coffee. Most of our stores are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year.
Sunoco Ultra Service Center® automotive repair facilities are located along the east coast from New England to Northern Virginia and west into Pennsylvania. Our certified and highly-trained technicians use the latest on-line diagnostics to identify the problem and repair your car. We offer a 12,000-mile/12-month warranty with services performed at any Ultra Service Center or at any one of over 2,000 selected USC locations participating in the warranty program.
As one of the world's largest producers of premium racing fuels, Sunoco Race Fuels embraces the determination to refine, blend, and supply only the highest-quality products. Sunoco's track-proven fuels are designed to provide exceptional performance, quality, and consistency. Throughout the years, Sunoco Race Fuels has been used in all types of professional motorsports.
In 2004, Sunoco became the “Official Fuel of NASCAR.” Under the ten-year agreement, Sunoco provides racing gasoline for NASCAR’s three national series – the NASCAR Nextel Cup, NASCAR Busch Series, and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series – distributing gasoline to more than 400 race tracks in the U.S.

Training
To assist you in your business, we offer a comprehensive training program at “Sunoco University”, our training center with state-of-the-art class rooms and systems. Hands-on training of the APlus business systems will be provided. We also utilize a fleet of mobile training van class rooms that provide on-site, ongoing training.

Are You a Good Fit for Sunoco?
General Criteria
APlus convenience store franchises are available for ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals willing to assume the risks — and eager to reap the rewards — of owning their own business. You must be ready to make a full commitment to the business and to put forth full attention to the key business drivers. Becoming an APlus Franchisee requires being prepared to make a significant time, energy and financial commitment.
A Sunoco fuels supply agreement is a mandatory requirement for an APlus convenience store franchise.
In addition, the following are some, but not all, of the additional requirements that you must meet:
- U.S. citizenship, or permanent resident alien status
- Personal participation in operating a retail facility
- Successful completion of all training requirements
- English language proficiency
- Good credit record/credit history evidenced by prompt payment of all financial obligations
- Total estimated investment $250,000 to $600,000 (including estimated real estate costs)
- Estimated liquid capital required $125,000 to $300,000
- Entrepreneurial attitude, creativity and the ability to make sound business decisions
- Ability to create and implement a comprehensive business plan
- Ability to successfully execute APlus franchise operational procedures
- Ability to obtain / qualify for and maintain a valid beer and wine sales license for off-site consumption
