Products & Services
Ken White had a vision for a restaurant to serve the needs of small town USA. Together Ken and Richard Garland, a business partner, achieved that vision when they founded Papa's Pizza To-Go in January 1986. Papa's Pizza started as a minimal investment in a modular unit on a vacant lot in McCaysville, GA. Success was apparent when customers lined up to purchase the unique pizza.Ken's retail experience began in TX where his family ran a grocery business. Ken continued to serve the retail industry for fifteen years before starting his ownership of a bakery and three restaurants in Georgia and Tennessee. Richard focused his career as an owner and manufacturer of signs and modular barbecue units.
Today, there are approximately 70 Papa's Pizza To-Go restaurants operating in eight Southeastern states. With over two decades of success, Papa's Pizza To-Go remains committed to serving customers an expanded menu with quality products to satisfy all appetites at a reasonable price.

Training & Support
Extensive training is required for all franchisees. Owners or managers must successfully complete 5 days of hands-on-training at a designated corporate location, as well as one day of training a the corporate office. Papa's Pizza To-Go will staff your restaurant with four corporate trainers during opening week. Each Papa's Pizza To-Go restaurant receives a comprehensive operations manual. Annual and regional meetings update franchisees on the latest strategies. Restaurants also receive regularly scheduled visits from the corporate office.
Building goodwill and brand recognition is an essential ongoing objective for all of our operators. To accomplish this, the corporate office provides an extensive marketing program that includes a monthly local coupon program for stores to participate in. This full color visual piece is distributed directly to local markets and redemption rates are exceptional. Other promotional materials are available at the corporate office.
