Overview
Are you a person who has longed to run your very own business in a fun and life rewarding environment while building a consequential and highly valued community business and career? Monart is backed by 25 years of proven success, known-how and academic credibility. Owning a Monart Drawing School franchise may be just what you have been waiting for.
Products & Services
The Monart Method has its root in a 1979 California Arts Council funded research grant that led renowned art educator Mona Brookes to create a revolutionary instructional drawing program that has taught hundreds of thousands of school children and educators, alike, over the last two decades. Convinced that drawing was in fact a "teachable" subject and a structured "method" could be established in much the same way as had been done in music, dance, and writing Ms. Brookes created what is now known as the Monart Method.
Monart's acceptance and success led Ms. Brookes to establish a network of independently licensed and now franchised Monart schools throughout the United States. Monart is the only national based drawing program whose "progressive" curriculum is taught in its own studio environment. Discover the difference Monart has made to lives everywhere.
Training & Support
As a part of your original franchise fee you will attend an intensive two week training course with Mona Brookes and her staff. Your training will include the use of the Monart Drawing Method with 4 year olds through adults, office and billing procedures, and how to market your classes. If you are not an artist, Monart will include the training of your first Master Art Teacher in the original franchise fee and will train subsequent replacement teachers for a very nominal fee.
Why Monart School of the Arts?
Monart has proven ways to fill your classes with students eager to learn. We provide you with the basic materials for a start up exhibit, which will show the community the kind of results that you will be offering your future students. You will receive camera-ready artwork and press release samples for local advertising. Pre-designed printed marketing materials make marketing easy and a network of seasoned Monart Owners will share their marketing ideas.
All Monart Franchise owners use the proprietary realistic drawing methodology developed in 1979 by the founder Mona Brookes. In addition they are certified to teach a curriculum called Monart Draw & Learn, a Loyola Marymount University accredited course for school districts. This academic based drawing curriculum is known to help children with learning difficulties to succeed in specific academic subjects. Monart and Mona's best selling books have been used in America and many countries around the world to teach hundreds of thousands of students to draw and to enjoy academic learning at the same time.
