Overview
Welcome to the Jake's Pizza family. At Jake's, we take that word very seriously.
After all, this is a family business, handed down to the next generation. The dining experience that we sell is a traditional American family activity. And, of course, many of our franchises make their Jake's Pizza restaurant into a family business of their very own.
But at Jake's, we go an important step further: when we welcome new franchisee into the fold, they join our corporate family.
We feel your individual success is an absolute measure of our company's success. It's a philosophy that has helped Jake's flourish in the rigorous Chicago pizza market, and expand further into the new markets each day.
We hope you'll welcome the opportunity ... and the invitation to join our company.
Products & Services
The Early Years:
America has a rich history of powerful companies rising from humble beginnings. It's a the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels the American Dreams. And at Jake's Pizza, that drive is at our very foundation.
In 1961, when the first Jake's was launched in Mount Prospect, Illinois, the ambitious young owner never dreamed that his fledgling store would one day spring up into 15 locations in 2 states.
As a matter of fact, the founder of Jake's was far more concerned with perfecting his pizza crust, tracking down the finest ingredients, and setting a unwavering standard for quality that endures today. And for that, we are grateful.
It's those high standards - still steadfastly followed decades later - that are the source of our success today.
Jake's Today:
Today, Jake's Pizza has spread well beyond its Chicago - area origins. The Jake's marquee now appears across the country.
We don't prosper because of gimmicky promotions or heavy discounts. Jake's is a success because we have always put one thing first: the pizza. Our ingredients are second to none, and we price our product correctly. It's that simple, and it works.
It's for those reasons that Jake's Pizza offers such a rewarding franchise opportunity. Recent studies show that the growth of the pizza industry has remained consistent and strong, and Jake's Pizza is positioned to take full advantage of that growth.
Training & Support
Although in some instances Jake's may assist in locating an acceptable site for a franchisee, Jake's is not obligated to provide any site selection assistance. The prospective franchisee locates a suitable site, but Jake's must approve the site before a lease or franchise agreement has been executed.
Jake's currently does not sell any supplies to franchisees. You must purchase certain proprietary products such as flour, dough pack mixes, BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, sausage and sauce spice mixes from suppliers designated by Jake's. This is to ensure that these products are manufactured following Jake's trade secret recipes. Other products and supplies you purchase can be purchased from any supplier which meets the standards and specifications developed by Jake's to maintain uniform, high quality products throughout the system.
A training program is available and offered by Jake's for you and, if applicable, any proposed manager. Our classroom and on-the-job training program will cover all aspects of the business and currently lasts for approximately 4 weeks.
