The Dental and Medical fields are seeing continued growth and we have a suite of offerings that provide a competitive advantage in our respective fields. In addition to our handpiece offerings, we have developed a complimentary line that allows us to repair the finely manufactured tools used in a dental and medical office, called Sharpeez. This offering allows us to expand our potential customer base and increase the volume of business for each franchisee.

Handpiece repair is and always will be in high demand due to the rigorous sterilization procedures (autoclaving) required by OSHA that substantially increases the rate at which the dental instruments (drills) breakdown. On average, dentists have 5 to 15 handpieces that need to be serviced once a year; and some handpieces need even more maintenance depending on usage. We charge approximately US$79 to US$150 to service dental handpieces.

Dentists have very few quality choices of where to send their handpieces for repair. Most repair options are costly and have a slow turnaround. Handpiece manufacturers and dental supply houses charge on average US$130 to US$300 (up to 50% more than what we charge) for repairs that can take up to four weeks to return. Additionally, the dentists must go through the hassle of packaging up the handpiece and sending it off for repair. All of the Hayes offices are successful because they fulfill the need for prompt, local repairs at a reasonable price.
