September 1985 marked the launch of Celluland’s operations in Canada. Our first Celluland store was situated on St Jacques Street in Montreal. Some 25 years later Celluland continues to enjoy a thriving business. OUR FOUNDERS,
Founded by Abraham Finkel, Celluland generated 100% of their revenue from the wireless phones and paging industry. Celluland foresaw an emerging trend and began to focus their offering as a franchise operation.
Since then Celluland has added local lines, long distance calling plans, satellite TV, alarm systems, prepaid long-distance cards, wireless prepaid, GPS tracking systems for vehicle theft, Voice over Internet Protocol and a payment center. When the telecommunications industry took a turn in a new direction, Celluland became a telecommunication superstore that gives the customer a one-stop shopping experience with the ability to purchase any communications product they desire from a single source. We have developed a distribution system which offers clients the newest and most desirable telecommunications tools at prices that defy the competition. Our longevity, stability and loyalty to each other and to the customers we serve, have given us the credibility and the level of profitability that is the envy of the industry.
