W.S. Badcock Corporation, established in 1904 in Mulberry, Florida, has more than 330 retail locations throughout the Southeast. Approximately 75% of those stores are dealer owned and operated.
In 2000, we developed a new store concept called Badcock Home Furniture &more that includes a product line of more than 4,000 items, a brighter, more spacious store display, and a new logo. Each store offers a wide range of home furnishings including:
- Full line of furniture for dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms
- Patio furniture
- Bedding, including our own line of beds
- Appliances
- Electronics
- Accessories
- Floor coverings
A majority of our stores are individually owned through the company's unique dealership business model. This model offers the benefits of business ownership with quicker start-up than in a traditional franchise system because the Corporation consigns all of its merchandise to the dealers and does not require a franchise fee.
