YOUNG VETERAN POISED FOR SUCCESS WITH A ZIEBART FRANCHISE

Troy, MI, October 24, 2012, Ziebart International Corporation offers a unique franchise opportunity for military veterans in the automotive business sector. Ziebart has been recognized for supporting veterans and has recently been included on the Military Friendly Franchises Top 200 list for 2011 and 2012.

Kyle Crandall, of Dewittville, NY is Ziebart’s youngest franchise owner at 24 years of age. He served for six years in the United States Marine Corps stationed in New Orleans, LA as a Sergeant/E-5. Upon completion of his service, Crandall knew that his honor, courage and commitment, all skills that were profoundly developed in the Marines, would benefit him as he began the search for the right franchise opportunity.

With family and friends in the Jamestown, NY area, Crandall started to look into various franchising opportunities in the city and was introduced to Ziebart through the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) VetFran program (Veterans Transition Franchise Initiative). He then decided that Ziebart was the perfect opportunity for him, given his personal interest in automobiles.

“Being a part of an over 53 year heritage of worldwide leaders who eat, sleep and breathe cars is really exciting,” states Crandall. “I was impressed with Ziebart’s proven track record, its trust in their local communities, marketing and advertising campaigns and store operations.”  As an added bonus, Crandall was able to choose a location close to the community where he was born and raised. Hoping to continue to give back to his community that has already embraced his business, Crandall is excited to produce charity car washes other events to support local organizations.

“What I love most about being a Ziebart franchisee is my passion for automobiles, and the proprietary products and services Ziebart offers to help protect and enhance vehicles,” reveals Crandall. At 24 years old, Crandall has shown impressive strides having already grown his total sales year-over-year by 9%.

Since 1964, Ziebart International Corp. has been a dedicated member of the International Franchise Association and offers incentives through the VetFran program. Ziebart is currently recruiting qualified veterans to acquire franchise businesses. Crandall encourages other veterans to look into IFA’s VetFran program that helps returning service members access franchise opportunities through training, financial and industry support.

Ziebart International Corporation is headquartered in Troy, Michigan, representing a global franchise network of vehicle appearance and protection services for over 53 years. The company was founded on rust protection in 1959 and currently operates 400 locations in 30 countries with over 800 processing centers worldwide.
