Sam and Rubina Batt have been long-time fans of TCBY. So, when the TCBY close to their home closed, getting a deliciously healthy sweet tooth fix became very difficult. A move to Charlotte, North Carolina, proved the perfect location and time for the Batts to give it a swirl, opening their first TCBY store.
“Our customers were so nostalgic about he TCBY brand and so excited that we had opened one,” shared Sam. “We’ve had people waiting in lines out the door in the rain and coming in during snowstorms. It’s amazing!” Since opening their first store, the Batts have built a loyal customer base and have expanded into five additional locations, slowly turning their part of the South into one cool location.
