New store opening in Topeka, Kansas
Complete Nutrition of Topeka, a nutritional supplement store that features weight loss and sports nutrition products, has opened at 2121 S.W. Wanamaker.
Seth Davis is the health expert for the new store. The staff includes certified personal trainers, former strength coaches and others experienced in health and fitness.
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. The store's telephone number is (785) 783-3952.
Pioneer Adams II, an affordable housing community at S.E. 21st and Adams, has celebrated its grand opening.
The housing complex, an extension of the Pioneer Adams Townhomes development, has 29 new one-, two or three-bedroom apartments and 20 three-bedroom townhomes. Rents range from $403 to $687, and all units are reserved for income-qualified residents. At the end of a 15-year compliance period, residents will have an opportunity to purchase their unit.

Pulse, an alcohol-free teen dance club at 4117 S.W. Huntoon, will open Friday in the former Jul's location in the Gage Shopping Center.
The club will be open for 15- to 19-year-olds and will enforce a dress code. High school identification cards or driver's licenses will be required for admittance. The club will be open 7 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Admission will be $8 before 8 p.m. and $10 after 8 p.m.
