Charleston, WV Fitness Studio Franchise debuts at #361.

Charleston, WV (January 2, 2013) – Brickhouse Cardio Club, a Charleston, WV based fitness studio franchise, is the only West Virginia company listed on the Entrepreneur Magazine Franchise 500, a prestigious listing of the top franchises operating in the United States.  Brickhouse Cardio Club made its debut at #361.  In contrast, Minnesota boasts 18 of the top 500 franchises in the country.

“We are very proud to debut on this prestigious listing and we look forward to climbing the list in the coming years,” Franchise Founder and CEO Vic Sprouse said.  “We were shocked to be the only West Virginia company on the list, but hopefully we can inspire other West Virginia companies to look at the option of franchising and to grow their idea into a national brand.  Our success is due to the hard work of our franchisees and our job is to give them the training and support them need to have success.”

Brickhouse Cardio Club has opened studios in 20 states including West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, Washington, Rhode Island, Florida, Mississippi, New Jersey, Kansas, South Carolina, New York, Georgia, Indiana, and California.

Brickhouse Cardio Club began with a single studio in Cross Lanes, WV and has now grown to over 60 fitness franchises nationwide.

“We are extremely proud of what Brickhouse Cardio Club has become in the last three years,” Franchise Founder Vic Sprouse said. “It’s very humbling to see our name up there with national brands like Subway, Taco Bell, and others as we build our franchise.”

“The reasons for our success is based on each member’s entire experience from that initial call or walk in to seeing them all the way through to meet and exceed the goals they have set out to reach,” Co-Founder Marie Sprouse-McDavid added.  “We teach our franchisees about focusing on the individual member and that is what makes us successful versus other gyms where if you want personal attention, you have to pay large amounts for a personal trainer.”

“The great part about Brickhouse Cardio Club is that we support our franchisees every step of the way.  When franchisees first approach us with hopes of opening their own studio, their initial reactions are all pretty much the same, “wow, this is very overwhelming” or “I am not sure where I would even start or how to start.”  We are giving them a system that has been tried and tested, and has the best chance for their success,” Co-Owner Misti Janey says.
