Fee Structure and Estimated Opening Investment
Continuing Fees
4% Royalty and 1% Advertising. Our 5% total fee structure beats most of our competitors’, commonly set between 7 and 9%.
Estimated Opening Investment
The estimated opening investment depends on the type of Country Kitchen you have in mind, along with the state of what is being converted, if anything.
In general, converting a restaurant similar in nature to a Country Kitchen would cost approximately $100,000 - $275,000, with an average conversion cost of $185,000. A ground up unit to be attached to another business (hotel, travel plaza, strip mall, convenience store and the like), and therefore able to share certain equipment and facilities, would cost about $450,000 - $600,000. Finally, a free standing, ground up unit would involve an investment in the range of $900,000 - $1,736,300, with an average cost of $1,100,000.
It is possible that your own costs will be significantly different. These ranges and averages do not include the cost of purchasing or leasing land.
